Turok demo roars on Xbox Live

By Spencer . January 15, 2008 . 1:29am

turok.jpgOut of the blue, a demo for the revived Turok franchise just popped on to Xbox Live. If you are a gold member (not living in Korea or Japan) you can download it and test your FPS skills against dinosaurs. I spent some time with Turok in the past and the game does not have to be played with a shoot-first-ask-questions later strategy. Other strategies include luring enraged dinosaurs into an enemy base and stealth tactics for instant kills.

Update: I logged on with my US account and I didn't see it. However, if you have a gold account in Asia (*most of asia) or Europe you should be able to get access to this. The Turok demo is up on my Singaporean Xbox Live account.

It’s also not available for the US, so a bunch of other news sites say.

… I still can’t believe this game is basically being done by Disney Interactive?

BurntToast256 Says:

Read that due to an exclusive agreement with OXM, it won’t show on US-flagged consoles.
