@Chris - That's a really good question and it depends on how Working Designs liquidated their assets. When they officially shut down the rights to the Arc the Lad Collection may have already lapsed too depending on their original contract. Hmm... even if that is the case someone should have picked up the rights to their localized version. I guess it will be a mystery until someone (anyone?) republishes the PsOne games.

Oh, I got you. I read that wrong. Does anyone technically own the US rights then since WD is gone (or maybe Namco since they put out End of Darkness), or would someone have to negotiate with Sony again for any US rights?

@Chris - I should have clarified when I meant "none of them have arrived" I meant none of them have arrived on the US store. Since WD moved on it's uncertain if we will ever see individual games in the Arc the Lad collection appear on the PS store.

The Arc the Lad games did come to North America.

This did actually make it out the door, though it was a very limited release and probably near impossible to find now that WD is dead.

Got-daigmn! Sony is just being mean. When are we going to get this RPG avalanche that the Japanese seem to be buried up to their eyeballs in? Wild Arms whet the appetite, so why not start dumping other NA-released role playing games? It can't be that difficult.

Speaking of.... why not let us download Japanese games if we want? Surely additional revenue is something Sony isn't averse to - PS3 notwithstanding.

Who wants to protest? Anyone? Oh nevermind....
