Silent Hill Origins officially getting a PSP to PS2 port

(Alternate title: Revised box art from Konami doesn’t deceive.) There were so many signs pointing to a PSP to PlayStation 2 port of Silent Hill Origins this shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. The only question is how the game will differ. Konami mentions “updated controls maximize combat”, but besides that there is no information if the PS2 port will have new scenarios or anything to tempt owners of the PSP version to buy Silent Hill Origins a second time.

With this officially announced, I’m searching for any signs of a Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles PSP to PS2 port that throws in Castlevania: Dracula X, the SNES adaptation, as a bonus.

The ability to play fullscreen on an HDTV?

Spencer Says:

@alice - Ahh, that would be nice, but I hope Konami increases the resolution for the PS2 version to clean up the port.

I actually didn’t like this Silent Hill game. Since you choose when you move between the evil and uber-evil worlds it takes a lot of the “fright of the unknown” factor out.

At least for me
