Next on the delay list, Namco Bandai’s video game trainer

Over the past few weeks many companies announced delays. Bokura no TV Game Kentei is Namco Bandai’s first. The happy little arcade machine that drills players on how to tackle arcade games from Namco Bandai’s vault was supposed to appear in Japan on March 20. Now it’s scheduled to come out sometime in 2008 so Namco Bandai can enhance the title’s quality.

Delays usually don’t bother me because I prefer to have a polished game over a rushed one, but over the past few weeks it feels like an inordinate number of games have been pushed back. It’s probably not the case though. Since it’s the beginning of the year plenty of companies are reevaluating their 2008 forecast, which means delays are inevitable.
