PSP SRPG, Vantage Master Portable arrives in April

vmp0.jpgWhile we’re on the subject of Nihon Falcom it’s an opportune time to mention Vantage Master Portable’s release date. The PSP remake is scheduled to debut in Japan on April 24. New features include ad hoc player versus player battles and characters from Sora no Kiseki. The real kicker is Vantage Master Portable costs the same amount as the Ys DS remakes, which suddenly makes the Ys DS games feel overpriced. On the other hand Vantage Master for the PC is free so perhaps the PSP version is overpriced?

Since there aren’t many pictures of Vantage Master Portable floating around I posted some gameplay screenshots past the break.

This is based on Vantage Master Japan - http://www.falcom.com/vmj/features/index.html , not on Vantage Master Online.

And it's hard to take the PC version on the go...

(And ditto on wanting the US release of Sora. But sadly the only company that still seems to be interested in PSP Rpgs is Xseed, and they already said they aren't interested in that one)

yeah but on the other other hand, this looks a million times better than the PC version!
