AtomListen to Layton speak English
Professor Layton and the Curious Village is finally nearing the end of its lengthened release journey. After being a no show at E for All and getting multiple release date changes Nintendo is beginning to push Layton’s first adventure. In this trailer you can hear Layton and his apprentice, Luke, speak for the first time. I imagined the cast would get British accents for the US release, so this isn’t a surprise for me.
They are different from the Japanese trailer though, but the style of the US trailer is the same as one of Level 5’s promotional videos. Check past the break for the comparison clip.

I dunno…some of those accents sounded pretty terrible to me. Either way though, this game looks great.

The Jpn cast sounded quite good, but the British accent here (not fake-cent) sounds so charming, Layton is truly an English gentleman now :)
I absolutely cannot wait for this game, small fonts or not. I mean this game has to be good if it has a trilogy alrdy.
