I have this game and have had it for about a month, (got it when it came out) I am a deep sea diver (when i get the chance to go) and I simply love this game, it is educational as it will teach you all about the inhabitants of another world few people get to see. so far i only have 34 hours diving in this game and i still have a long way to go, it is laid back and relaxing, but so is diving, I bought it cause I love to dive and I am not dissapointed. Give it a try

Hardcore gamers would also argue that The Sims is not a game. Who cares? Other people enjoy The Sims, and The Sims sell well enough.

I strongly recommend diving to "The Pearl" by Harold Budd and Brian Eno. It seems to be the missing soundtrack to Endless Ocean. Seriously, it's uncanny how much it fits. You can get it on iTunes.

Well done for not succumbing to the 'gamer' snobbery that Endless Ocean has come up against in a lot of sections of the gaming media. One of the things I enjoy most in games is exploration and discovery, and Endless Ocean looks like it offers plenty of that!

I agree with you, couldn't recommend this game more. It captures what I love about games, exploration and adventure.
