Meet the marching band in Major Minor’s Majestic March

By Spencer . January 31, 2008 . 8:40am

marchbeart.jpgMajesco reunited NanaOn-Sha and Rodney Alan Greenblat, the powerhouse behind PaRappa the Rapper, together for a Nintendo Wii game. The project is called Major Minor’s Majestic March and the little drummer bear is part of the cast. You can charm him to join Major Mike Minor’s marching band by using a special baton (read: Wii remote) that charms band members to get in line. Stick to the beat and more fuzzy animals join up. Stray and they drop out of the parade. On Major Mike’s quest to spread joy, players lead a band in eight different locations and have the opportunity to add fifteen different instruments to the band. See if you can get the tuba playing pig or the saxophone playing beagle shown past the break in yours.

Ever since the Majesco announcement, I’ve been waiting to see what Rodney came up with. And now I can’t wait to see how it’s being visualized on the Wii… I wonder if they will go with a PaRappa look or not.

I wish these guys a lot of luck. I really hope they make an impact on the Wii.

I’m glad Rodney is back in the game. I love his style.
