Hold it! Capcom holds an Ace Attorney live orchestra

gsmeetso.jpgOn April 20, Capcom is taking Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney series) out of the courtroom and into the orchestra. Gyakuten Meets Orchestra is a one night event where the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra plays music from the games held at the Shinjuku Bunka Center. Tickets run for 5,800 yen ($58) for a S class seat and 4,800 yen ($44) for an A class seat. Both seats come with some kind of souvenir as a bonus.

I don’t think Capcom has any plans to run a similar event in North America, but a fair compromise would be to hear some of the tunes in another video game concert like Video Games Live.

I hope we have something like that here.. like the Lost Odyssey/Blue Dragon live concert they held like 2 months ago.. I have the PW Orchestra soundtrack, I wonder if they would just do the same thing live, hearing good game music arranged and performed by Orchestra is really something else. Oh, cute logo :)
