I too also thought it would do good on Adult Swim... I mean, it IS the best anime I'VE ever watched. And I've watched A LOT of animes. And I'm very picky about the animes that I consider "Good", imagine "Great", which is what I consider Death Note. The manga had a lot of parts that I liked that never made it into the film. But the Anime had some good parts that the manga didn't. All-in-all, I thought the whole production was really well done. Above average. I wonder y it didnt do well on Adult Swim. I've only seen it in Japanese with dubs though. Was the english voice-over horrible or something? I might just check for myself to c, cause I feel like I MUST know.
