Amateur Surgeon: Adult Swim’s take on Trauma Center

Imitation is inevitable, but the first Trauma Center clone is coming from an unlikely place. I thought I would see Veterinary Center: Save the Nintendogs before Adult Swim atomized Trauma Center into a flash game. Since this is for PCs motion control is thrown out the window, but the operations in Amateur Suregon are very similar to what you would find in Atlus’ Trauma Center series. The twist is you’re not a surgeon. Alan Probe is a pizza delivery boy who dreams of being a surgeon. He uses a pizza cutter to open patients up, a stapler to suture wounds and an “itchy sketch” to scan for metallic objects. Humor aside, Amateur Surgeon shares so much in common with Trauma Center I wonder if Atlus is flattered or calling their lawyers.

Zapping bugs with a car battery is hardly very similar to the operations in Trauma Centre! This isn’t the first clone either, there’s others online like Dark Cut
