Yeah…I'm out of interesting introductory sentences for now, so let's just get to the heart of the matter, shall we? This week's Virtual Console offerings are sure to please quite a few Wii owners. First up we've got Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom for the NES. Personally my least favorite of the original trilogy, Ninja Gaiden III is still a great game, even if it's not quite as good as the first two. Once again you'll take control of Ryu Hayabusa, who has been accused of the murder of his girlfriend Irene Lew, as he attempts to clear his name. And second, we have Phantasy Star II for the Genesis. Yes, finally, there's something on the VC for old-school RPG enthusiasts. A true classic, Phantasy Star II has you guiding Rolf and his friends in their epic quest. Truly a game for RPG fanatics to check out.
So, another week, another set of games that doesn't include Earthbound (come on, you didn't think I was going to go the whole article without mentioning Earthbound, did you?), but nonetheless a pretty great week. Almost everyone should have some interest in at least one of this week's offerings. I'd pick up Phantasy Star II if I didn't already have so many RPG's to play though. Still, great week. Enjoy!

Haha. Yeah, I can only imagine what my weekly VC article will look like once Earthbound hits the VC.
I’ve felt the urge to play through Earthbound again, but I’ve been resisting because I want to wait for the VC release. Hurry it up, Nintendo.

And the trilogy is complete…My personal favorite is Ninja Gaiden II (and it´s among my favorite games of all time), but I and III are also great. PS: I´m waiting for Earthbound to arrive just to read what´s your reaction…
