Samurai Deeper Kyo, the GBA’s swan song?

Last year, I discovered an ESRB rating for Samurai Deeper Kyo, which was likely related to the anime series and a Game Boy Advance game published by Marvelous Interactive in Japan at the tail end of 2002. Without even an announcement from Destineer (the US publisher) the game slipped into stores in an unlikely place. You won’t find it on the shelves of Gamestop because the Samurai Deeper Kyo game is bundled actually a bonus for fans that purchase the complete anime series.

Considering how difficult it is to obtain Samurai Deeper Kyo for the GBA and the lack of publicity, I imagine this is going to be rare in the future. Collectors and Samurai Deeper Kyo fans grab your wallets!

I wonder how the game is quality wise though. Because I remember reading that manga, never got the anime because I heard it paled in comparison.

That´s interesting…a nice idea to sell the game without having to sell it…(yes, that actually makes sense). At least the game got released in the US…better late than ever, right ?
