This made my day. I'm really happy with SNK lately. Nothing like keeping the 2D gaming movement on.!!

I'm very pleased with SNK these days. In addition to keeping 2D alive for new installments, they have put out some of the best collections of just about anyone.

following a lengthy pattern of america not getting all these awesome 2D fighting games for ps2, i spent a lot of money to procure all these titles for my japanese ps2 while living in japan where these games usually sell at full price. i come home, and the ps2 is home to an incredible array of fighting games and shooters. i can't quite pinpoint the reason for this sea change, but i can say that despite the strain it puts on my wallet to purchase american versions (in addition to my japanese versions) of kof, ngbc, firepro, arcana heart, and now a US release of tenkaichi, i am as happy as i've ever been with the ps2. if things had been like this from the get-go, the dreamcast might just have slipped to number two in my book. let's see if someone brings fist of the north star over here. should that happen, i will be extremely frustrated, but incredibly happy.
