Namco Bandai puts Naruto: Narultimate Portable on their localization list

narutounp2.jpgNaruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes was just a warm up. This summer Namco Bandai is localizing the actual game Japan got back in 2006 as Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress. The main difference between this and the US/Europe only Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is a single player storyline where players push through 100+ floors of an illusion filled Phantom Fortress. Scrolls are used build a path to the staircase and they contain tasks like one on one fights, trivia questions from Iruka and mini games like the tree running game from Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2.

The good news is Namco Bandai is slightly improving the game for North America. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress has the game sharing function introduced in the previous PSP release and dual language support (i.e. Japanese and English voices).

I wonder if they’ll re-use the character’s movesets from UN2, or will they improve it even more and use the movesets from UN3. Hopefully, it’s the latter… if not, this game will feel even more staler than it already is… meh..

Hello Hello Says:

I’ve played the Japanese version of this. It’s a lot better than the stripped down version that was released in North America last summer.

I already have the first one and it was ok, but this one looks like it will even better.

john Says:

alrigt here are some character techniques ideas
1 Naruto uzamaki
his techniques are
his up,up,circle should be rasengan
his down, down, circle should be when he pick up his oppenont and twirled him around then throw him
his triangle, circle should allow him to use his ougi name nine tailed rasengan which after that he should trasform into OTK Naruto and this is his permenit transformation which last through out the whole battle and bandi please don’t put no temporarity transformation because that’s boring and no body likes it everybody likes permenit transformation well can you at least put OTK Naruto in phantom fortress it will be really cool thanks
now the moves that one tailed naruto has are
his up,up,circle is demon rasengan and the rest is the same if you put OTK naruto in the game he should look like the same in ultimate ninja 3
