Drones hold Baroque in the dungeon until April

baroqued1.jpgYesterday, we wrote up a brief piece hinting at a delay for the dark world of Baroque. Unfortunately, this news is more than a rumor. Atlus updated their official release calendar with the cyclic dungeon crawler slated for April 8. This marks the second delay for Baroque, but I think this is a bright move for Atlus. Whether the game is done or not putting it up against Super Smash Brothers Brawl and limited funds for gaming is a hard fight to win.

It appears Drone Tactics got delayed too. Originally, the mecha insect SRPG was scheduled to come out on April 8. Now it’s held in some kind of robotic insect playpen until May 13. It’s unclear if this delay had anything to do with the surge of simultaneous releases from Atlus on April 8, previously three games if you include Arcana Heart, or if Atlus is spending an extra month polishing the metallic beetles.

Geez. From the end of March through May, Nippon Ichi and Atlus pretty much own my wallet every single week. It’s going to be painful, but so very, very sexy.

jeffx Says:

Nick, what are NISA releasing other than Mana Khemia? guess I’m out of touch.

Volcynika Says:

Puchi Puchi Virus and Mana Khemia are about it from NISA, I think.

Pedro Silva Says:

shouldn’t the tags have ps2 instead of NDS?

Volcynika Says:

Well, Drone Tactics is a DS game, so the tags are halfway there :p
