Link’s Bow Gun Training shoots for a May release

The Wii Zapper launched in Europe and North America bundled with Link’s Crossbow Training as a free game. In Japan the main way of picking up the plastic shell was through a Ghost Squad or Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles package. Extra zappers could be purchased online, but they didn’t come with a pack in game.

 

Most Zapper owners are probably bored with Link’s Crossbow Training now, but it is new stuff for Japan. On May 1^st, it finally arrives in Japanese stores priced at 3,800 yen ($35). I suppose this is a fair package for anyone who wants to purchase a second zapper (or third?), but North America is getting a much better deal when it comes to Wii light gun games. Not only is the Wii Zapper more reasonable, Ghost Squad was released as a value game.
