Resident Evil 0 Wii-make on the way…to Japan

After the success of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, it was inevitable that Capcom would put another Resident Evil game on the Wii. However, their choice for the next Wii installment of the series is a bit…odd. The latest issue of Famitsu confirmed that Resident Evil 0 is hitting the Wii this summer. There's very little information on the game at this point, but it's apparently being designed to control with the Wii Remote only, and screenshots of the game look virtually identical to the Gamecube version. How exactly would controls such as these work, though?

 

Point and click a 'la Zack & Wiki to move your character? Also, for any North American RE fans actually excited by this news, I bring bad tidings. According to Capcom's Christian Svensson, there are currently no plans to bring RE0 Wii to North America. I know some may be disappointed by this, but I for one don't really mind. Resident Evil 4 really benefited from it's port to the Wii. RE0, though? I honestly don't see how it'd work. How about you guys out there?
