Last year, Sega brought Treasure's 2D Bleach fighter to the DS. Today, Sega has announced that Bleach: Dark Souls, the sequel to The Blade of Fate, will be hitting the US this summer. Of course we all knew this was coming, but it's nice to have an official announcement. Bleach: Dark Souls will feature a larger character roster, a new Spirit Card system, a much more in-depth story mode, and more. Speaking from personal experience with the import version, the sequel to Bleach DS is a fantastic game. I've clocked in over 70 hours of gameplay time since I got the game last February. Bleach fans, look forward to this one. It's going to be well worth the wait.

Yeah, they did add a lot of joke characters in BDS2. But they also added plenty of useful characters (Ikkaku, Matsumoto, Hisagi, Kukaku, Urahara, and Kira) along with the joke characters.
Ulquiorra? Is he just a card in the game?
I am not real big on 2d fighters( Mainly because I suck) though them localizing the sequel means that the first one sold good enough to warrant the localization, so that is good that Bleach is popular
I Can’t wait for them to localize the RPG(that comes out in Japan soon)

Yeah, Ulq’s only in the game as a card, same with Grimmjow and a couple other Arrancar and Vaizards (I know that Shinji is in as a card as well).
LOL, A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER I ASKED XD (then its maigc… so if I ask for a game it will be anounced 2 days later… MUAHAHA)
Cool. I imported the first one, but never played the second. Guess I’ll pick up the US version.
