Once the home for Armored Core, Agetec has been branching out in new directions. Recently, they built a relationship with Ivolgamus, a Lithuanian developer behind Fading Shadows. On top of publishing the orb rolling game on the PSP, the ESRB suggests Agetec is releasing Falling Stars too.

Falling Stars puts players in control of Luna who has to restore peace to Dazzleon with the help of her pet, which appears to be the main weapon in the game. Ivolgamus brought this to PlayStation 2 owners in Europe last year and Falling Stars received harsh criticism for being simplistic. Not too surprising since it’s designed as a RPG-style game for kids. Falling Stars probably won’t be on your must purchase list, but it will be interesting to see if Agetec continues their relationship with Ivolgamus. Perhaps, the studio will develop something more eye catching in the future.
