Phantasy Star series (1-4 is total WIN). I wish Sega would look at what the original devs did with Phantasy Star: Online [SATURN], incorporate elements of PS1-4, and reboot the series entirely. P.S. Universe is completely craptascular, and wanting of a storyline that makes SENSE!

Honestly, I'm not completely surprised Sega decided to include an English text option in Phantasy Star: Complete Collection when you think about it. After all, this won't be the first time they decided to include the Genesis alternative to the Japanese Megadrive release in these Sega Ages titles, as we've seen Sega done with their previous Sega Ages releases of Gunstar Heroes: Treasure Box Collection and more recently with the Monster World Collection just released last year in 2007. Also, let's not forget the fact that many Japanese developers have now made it a common policy in this day and age to include an alternative English language option as a extra incentive for fans of the series who already have their hands on the original to buy the game over again when it comes time for a port or rerelease, as we've seen Capcom has done several times with their Phoneix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy when porting the game from the GBA to the DS in Japan.

Despite the fact there was no confirmation at the time for an English language option in the Phantasy Star: Complete Collection, I still made sure to preorder the Sega Direct DX Pack before it eventually sold out on Play-Asia as several of their special edition Sega Direct packages do. As a diehard Phantasy Star fan, I simply couldn't resist the temptation. It may be more than a bit pricey sure, as a matter of fact, the cost of importing this whole set of packaging bundled with the compilation may be considered downright expensive but for me, the extras such as the aforementioned Phantasy Star I-IV OST and the Rappy badge more than make up for the high price tag that the Phantasy Star: Complete Collection Sega Direct DX Pack commands.

No problem. I've been anxiously awaiting this game for months! A friend in Japan is even ordering me the stupidly expensive DX Sega Direct version with the PSI-IV OST. ^__^
