If you’re in San Francisco and a Final Fantasy fan, get out your planner. Square Enix is having a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII launch event on March 25 at the PlayStation Store in the Metreon. The party will run from 6:00PM – 9:00PM, but you probably get there early since the first 100 customers in line get a shirt. Other swag at the event includes personalized Shinra Company identification cards, unnamed Final Fantasy merchandise as raffle prizes and a limited edition lithograph.
Perhaps, Square Enix will toast the launch of Zack’s adventure by christening the first buyer with bubbly Final Fantasy potion. On second thought, this is a horrible idea.
Here are the invite details just in case you’re planning on going:
Location:
PlayStation Store @ Metreon
101 4th St
San Francisco, CA 94103
Date: March 25, 2008
Time: 6:00PM - 9:00PM
*Entry and retail game limited to 200 attendees
If someone is planning on going please take some pictures for us and for me so I can see what I missed!
The last time I went to Square release party at the Metreon, it was for Final Fantasy IX. The had some sweet give-aways then. Like a plush Vivi doll and full US release of the FF VIII OST. I still have both.
But now that I’m graduated from college and I’m employed in the “real” world. I don’t have time to wait in line for hours on a week day for cool schwag. I know, it’s a shame.
Man I know what you mean, free stuff! but I was a while ago stationed in Japan and there was something similar but I couldnt go. IT SUCKS
I would go if I did not think it would be packed with a line down the block by the time I got there after work.
I might as well stop by and take a few pics, seeing as how I’m going to buy the game anyways. =D
