Star Ocean: Animated Evolution

In just a few weeks Star Ocean: Second Evolution crawls from the ocean of PsOne games to evolve portability as a PSP title in Japan. The enhanced presentation is one of the highlights and Square Enix isn’t shy about showing it off. Production I.G. completed new artwork and anime clips for the game, which are spliced together in the preview video with a J-Pop theme that probably won’t play while you’re grinding through the dungeon. Notice anyone new in the trailer? Supposedly, Star Ocean: Second Evolution would have new playable characters.

The band doing the theme song for this game is named SCANDAL, they are playing on the SXSW Japan Nite tour right now and in San Francisco tonight! Not sure if this is the same song from the video you linked, you can hear it on this one:
