Persona 2: Innocent Sin goes back to school, learns English

By Spencer . March 21, 2008 . 1:40pm

p2is.jpgPersona 2: Innocent Sin is the missing chapter of the Persona series. Die hard Megami Tensei fans know this and have been craving to play the first half of Persona 2 in English.

Thankfully, Gemini is hard at work on the job. He (she?) has a blog discussing the trials of the fan translation with status updates about how it’s progressing. From the screenshots alone it looks solid. However, no one except Gemini has played it since a patch is currently unavailable to the public. Keep an eye out the blog though because the coveted English code could spring up at any time.

Beyond awesome. I knew I was waiting to finish Eternal Punishment for some reason other than remote play on PS3. Best of luck to Gemini and anyone assisting him (her?)!

Pedro Silva Says:

Gemini from the recent ToP translation?

anyway, kudos to him/her, I’ll be looking forward to this. Someone could do a “enhance” patch or something on Eternal Punishment too, I mean… I always heard it had quite some stuff taken out for the US version, and they did a xenogears undubed and corrected a few months ago too.

Would be nice.

@Pedro Silva - I’m pretty sure it’s the same Gemini. He/she has been pulling some amazing feats when it comes to translating PsOne games.
