Prepare to pay up for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King

I was greeted with a warning before I paid for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King with a red Nintendo Wi-Fi connection logo. Like Mojipittan Wii this logo informs prospective buyers there are fees for additional content. What content? Don’t know yet, but if you want the complete experience Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King may cost more than 1,500 Wii Points ($15). It’s already the most expensive game on the list, so this news is disheartening.

On the plus side Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King supports a number of different controllers including the Gamecube pad and the Classic Controller.

Update: I started snooping around to find out what we're paying for and some of the extra content includes the other tribes from the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles universe.

Oh wow, and I thought just the 1500 point price tag was bad. I was looking forward to this until now, and I might have bit at the 1500 points, but now this? I don’t think so, S-E.

Aww, and I was so interested in this. I guess I’ll have to wait to see how others review it before I consider trying to get this one. It was such a cute idea to tide me over till the next Animal Crossing too…

You know, I think this might be an overreaction. It could very well be just that there will be future add-on content that will cost extra, in the same way as Xbox Live’s level/map packs and etc.

I’m gonna buy it, but I won’t think they’ll get a dime in extra content.
