Darwinia + Multiwinia = XLA rumor confirmation

Instead of leaving Darwinia for the Xbox 360 as an unconfirmed rumor, Introversion sent out an e-mail blast confirming Darwinia will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade in “early autumn.” The title is actually called Darwinia+ because they will be including Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest as part of the package. Score! I thought that was going to be their plan yesterday.

Everyone who owns Darwinia will not need to purchase an Xbox 360 to play Multiwinia, a PC version is in development and it will be released simultaneously with the Xbox 360 version.

This game is one of my favorite games ever made. Please, you owe it to yourself to at least play the demo when this game releases on the XBLA. It plays like a modern version of Cannon Fodder and looks like Tron. What’s not to like?

Never played it but I loved Cannon Fodder. I should give it a try. It’s been so long since I’ve played anything of that sort.
