Sega Master System games started appearing on Japan’s Virtual Console last month with Fantasy Zone and Fist of the North Star as the first announced games. Sega of America notes we will be seeing Master System games in North America “soon”. The first two titles are WonderBoy and Fantasy Zone.

What? No Black Belt? Since Sega didn’t have the Fist of the North Star license in the USA the Master System game was sold under the name Black Belt with some notable differences. The good news is Master System games will be 20% cheaper in North America. Instead of spending 500 Wii Points ($5) per game Master System games only cost 400 Wii Points ($4), which makes them the cheapest items to purchase on North America's Virtual Console to date.

Just great, that means it’ll take even longer for some of the classic NES and SNES games to come out, especially with this only 2 games a week nonsense.
