… in Animal Boxing. The premise is rather simple, the animals are fighting to be King of the Animal Kingdom and unlike Hail to the Chimp there is no election. For whatever reason a gorilla, horse, tiger and a wolf start throwing jabs. Thus Animal Boxing was born as an internally developed game from Gammick. Remember Zombie BBQ? That Gammick
The complete roster includes some odd additions like a walrus wearing a beanie and a penguin. Flightless birds are ferocious creatures. No word on how it plays or if it’s even coming to North America. However, if Gammick plans on making their Q4 2008 target we should hear something more about Animal Boxing and more importantly, why aren’t lions in this, in the near future.
I think this is on par with strange DS game ideas like Imagine: Babies… still, the premise isn’t so far off aside from boxing instead of deathmatch wrestling or something of the sort. But I better see the supposed reigning king (Lion) or a Bear or something, cause I don’t think Happy Feet is gonna cut it ^^
It would appear that there’s some real innovative thinking going on over there at Gammick. If you go onto their website, and check out the Animal Boxing website, it tells you that to play the game you turn the DS upside down and have the touch-screen up top. As far as I’m concerned, that seems *really* clever.

That’s stupidly amazing. I don’t think I’d ever buy it, but I’d love to give it a whirl.
