Gameloft brings bowling, pool and cell phone ports to WiiWare

mbowl.jpgNo more rumors. Gameloft is officially a WiiWare developer with four titles in their line-up. Not all of them are cell phone ports, Block Breaker Deluxe is. Motion controls are tacked on in the Wii update of the multi-million selling mobile phone game. Now players can move the paddle by moving the remote left or right. Yeah for novelty? Honestly, this feature sounds unnecessary, but way more relevant than models.

Midnight Bowling (cell phone version pictured) and Midnight Pool are other cell phone to WiiWare ports. I’m pretty sure you can imagine how Gameloft plans to use the remote here. However, Midnight Bowling seems like an awkward port since you know everyone in North America has Wii Sports Bowling. Then again Arc System Works prepared Okiraku Ping Pong for launch, which shares plenty in common with Wii Sports Tennis.

The only new game out of the initial selection is TV Show King (note: we caught on to this almost two weeks ago), which is a mock trivia game show. I wonder if Gameloft plans to sell additional questions for a nominal amount of Wii Points. On second thought I better not give them any ideas.
