New Battlestar Galactica season prompts temporary XBLA price cut

On Saturday, April 5th Sierra will cut the price of Battlestar Galactica by fifty percent. Instead of 800 Microsoft points ($10) the game will ephemerally cost 400 Microsoft points ($5). The time to act is short since the promotion only lasts for 24 hours.

Perhaps more interesting than the brief Battlestar Galactica sale is Sierra is driving the promotion, not Microsoft. Usually, Microsoft dictates which games join holiday fire sales and earn platinum hits status.

Is this game worth $5? I did not think it was worth $10 at the time but it might just have been a bland demo.

I love me some Battlestar Galactica… but this game wasn’t worth $10 nor $5. Save your money, please.

I’ve heard the game isn’t great. But because I love the show SO MUCH, I’ll be buying this title. Awesome news.
