Sega, Uniqlo make Sonic fashion

Nintendo t-shirts are a dime a dozen. T-shirts with Sega characters aren’t as common. In Japan this is about to change with the Uniqlo Sega Tribute. Sonic the Hedgehog, jagged Virtua Fighter characters and House of the Dead 4 tees will be among Uniqlo’s line of casual wear. Each one costs 1,500 yen ($15).

Too bad the collaboration didn’t extend to the UT Project concept store in Harujuku. That’s a prime location to shill rare t-shirts with concept art from Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5 and less recognizable Sega characters.

Nice! I’ll have to swing by the NYC Uniqlo and see if they’re carrying them over here.
