Wii Wheel incompatible with Wii Remote wrap

I picked up Mario Kart Wii and when I unpackaged it I noticed the Wii Wheel has a little sticker explaining you need to remove the plastic wrap sent by Nintendo before inserting the remote. Guitar Hero III’s shell and the zapper require players to remove the wrapper, but I wanted to see if I could squeeze a wrapper sheathed remote into the Wii Wheel.

 

 

As you can see it really doesn’t fit.

 

 

Voilà! We have a working Wii Wheel. The total set up time, including removing the plastic case, was under one minute.
