aw man. i can't believe people are going to let them get away with such an unclear statement. if it weren't limited to the special edition, i might have some ideas about what it is, but it seems that it's something outside of the game's digital content, so i'm stumped ... unless, of course, they're giving us a direct feed digital recorder to save our wins and losses to post to youtube. that's my idea of a "tournament kit to document battles". that and a dry erase board featuring cutesy versions of the fighters framing a double-elimination bracket.

@thaKingRocka - Actually, that's all Namco Bandai mentioned about the tournament kit. It exists, it's part of the package, but the announcement isn't clear if the tournament kit is digital content, a matchmaking guide or an inflatable referee.

i still have the dc version, and with the vga cable, even on a 720 monitor, it holds up pretty well. of course, it's got a touch of the expected mud, but it really does look good. regardless, i will probably pick up the xbla version. they seem to have found the best way to get me to buy duplicate games, reasonably priced downloads. most of them are still cheaper than a decent lunch or dinner in midtown manhattan. god, i hate eating there. the food selection sucks and the prices are ridiculous.

I might get the XBLA version if only because "the soul still burns". Replacing that with "welcome back to the stage of history" took out half the fun.
