Siren 2 was much better IMHO. Best survial horror series ever :)

Even when you "passed" the level you had to start again if you missed flipping a switch or something.
Then, to add to the pile, you have revisit the stage again(same time, location, etc.) and do something different to complete the time-line.
It took a long time for that concept to sink in after beating myself up to complete the level the first time. And that crazy dub didn't help.
Despite that, it was a pretty memorial survival/horror game. I'm willing to give that new one a chance if it's ever released here.

The reanimation was quite irritating, as you said. What really got me, though, was the fact your objectives were never very clear. Like "go to [japanese name] street] or something, but you're in the middle of a farm town. Where do you go? How do you get there?

As far as "survival horror" goes, it worked, because you never knew what you'd have to do. Rarely any weapons, aggressive enemies who basically spell a game over if you're even spotted...

...Do I sound like a hater? I'm not. I love a challenge, but sometimes this game really took a dive and simply aggravated me. In light of that, thanks for telling us about the video walkthrough! =D

never got it for the PS2, might do so someday. Why doing a remake so soon though, is something I don't understand
