the render was and will be a issu of time, so that`s is the reason that they choose this way. maybe when computers will become more and more powerfull it will be differnt.

Unfortunately this is nothing special, considering these very models have been available in the game since… dreamcast v1. Who would’ve thought a rereleased game would reuse content. le gasp

They are infact NOT duplicates of the SA2 models.

Most likely they didn’t want to put a days work into making models for a cameo, so they just took the newest thing that the engine could render easily.
