Unofficial Resident Evil 4 art gives Leon unofficial Wii accessory

PEGA the company cashing in on “immersion accessories” like Wii boxing gloves, the shark gun and a pack of swords has their own take on the Wii Zapper. Their device mounts the nunchuck underneath the barrel, which would probably make it a pain to use for Ghost Squad.

That doesn’t matter because they unwillingly drafted a popular video game icon to model their toy. Their promotional poster features Resident Evil star Leon Kennedy standing adjacent to some of the villagers. I haven’t been able to locate the exact character art from Capcom with Leon pointing a rifle, but the picture below looks similar. Leon’s hair is placed differently, but his hands look relatively in the same place.

Lawsuit?

MOT Says:

That is exactly the same Leon character model. He’s just leaned a little bit forward in the top picture and his hair is even more ridiculously emo than before. *shivers in disgust*

Boycott Gamestop Says:

Looks like they may have *stretched* Leon’s hair for some vain argument that it’s no longer the same copyrighted image.

Dunno what function the nunchuk would have under there, but when you’re dealing with a company named PEGA you stop asking questions.
