At the Hong Kong Electronics show there was a demo of a PC ping pong game that reacted to controller swings. I didn’t get a chance to try it out, but it looks like another company is trying to emulate the Wii Sports experience.

This demo was kind of interesting to watch because it was the reaction timing wasn’t half bad. Actually, some might have even called it good! Compared to the user unfriendly golf game I tried at CES, it’s baffling why a similar product for PCs isn’t on the market already. PCs might not be thought of as a major gaming hub, but plenty of “casual” gamers invest hours on games like Bejeweled.

The opportunity to catch a market predominately interested in Wii Sports while the Wii drought is effect is now a short gap. Will someone fill it in time?
