Capcom bringing Grand Theft Auto IV to Japan sometime this year

While most of the world is getting ready to play Grand Theft Auto IV on April 29 (yes, even Asia) Japan has to wait until later this year. While the timing sounds slow, Grand Theft Auto games have been getting localized in Japan faster. Grand Theft Auto III joined the Greatest Hits line up in North America before Capcom localized it nearly two years after the initial release. We were done with Grant Theft Auto: Vice City by then.

Typically releases appeared at least one year later, but this is changing with Grand Theft Auto IV. Capcom will finish adding Japanese subtitles to Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008.

Yay Now Japanese can kill steal and xxx faster than before. :)

QBasic Says:

Nah, they already do that without the aid of GTA. They’re just more responsible and subtle than Americans. :)
