Eye on the Bydo Empire, R-Types ready

rtype.jpgBefore you order R-Type Command, learn about the Dobkeratops in R-Types. The PlayStation One game is a history lesson, or better explained as a bundle of R-Type I and II. Sony put R-Types on the PlayStation Store as part of their classics collection as a 243 MB digital download. The re-release will work on the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

 

Following R-Types is the Eye of Judgment: Biolith Rebellion 2, an expansion pack with 100 new cards to collect. Since Gamestop is already selling the physical cards produced by the Wizards of the Coast Sony put the $14.99 expansion pack online too.

    you mean they are finally giving us decent games on the US store? it's about damn time. i had already bought castlevania on xbla despite still having the original ps1 disc, and i just couldn't convince myself to buy spyro after playing r&c 1-5. r-types, though, is as good as mine.

    I lucked out and managed to find a copy of this game at Gamestop a few years ago... sitting right next to a copy of Raiden Project. Let's just say, that was a very happy day. Good to see that such a rare find is being kept alive through digital distribution.
