If you imported Taiko no Tatsujin DS 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken (aka Taiko no Tatsujin DS 2 by many) and are puzzled by the Japanese menus please thank Luke. He kindly made and sent screenshots with rough translations for the navigation (thanks!!). Now you won’t have to stumble around looking for the dojo or accidentally jump into hard mode when exploring the seven islands adventure.
Interesting note: the adventure mode has two “tastes”, literally. Sweet taste is easy mode and spicy taste is hard. In case you’re going through the single player mode here’s another tip. If you get stuck equip the items found in the stage. In the first level you need to give Wada Don the kuroi hakama (black robe) to challenge the old man. In the second stage you will need to put on the neko (cat) items to talk to the cats. I’ll be talking more about this tomorrow when I post up impressions of Taiko no Tatsujin DS 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken.
