Seasonal Naruto DS game escalates rivalry in July

I haven’t even started playing Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Retsuden II and it looks like Tomy is working on another Naruto game for the Nintendo DS. Nintendo’s third party schedule in their financial report mentions Naruto Shippuden Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu Gekitotu!! Naruto vs. Sasuke will come out on July 17, the same day as Dragon Quest V.

 

If Tomy sticks to the Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu traditions this will be a 2D Naruto game with sprites, possibly a 2D side scrolling Naruto platformer with sprites.

Naruto Shippuden: Dairasen! Kage Busen Emaki was released back in February. It's like Tomy is releasing a new Naruto game on the Nintendo DS each season.
