Skies of Arcadia fans like the writers over at Sega Nerds were quick to spot out two sky pirates in Sega’s PlayStation 3 strategy RPG. Vyse the Bold along with Aika somehow enter a fictional town of 1930s Europe. How? I don’t know, but I don’t think airship combat is a part of this game. Vyse and Aika are quick to adopt the uniforms of the Gallian residents.
We’re going to have to wait a little while longer to solve this mystery since Valkyrie of the Battlefield: Gallian Chronicles is only out in Japan. Sega will release Valkyria Chronicles in North America later this year.

Since Vyse writes here maybe we could ask him how we got there and get a scoop!
That is impressive. Now if only they’d randomly plunk Chaz Ashley and Alys Brangwin in there (maybe not Chaz… perhaps a Wren, or Demi, or Rune/Lune/Lutz, or Rika), I’d say this is the best game in the history of the universe. Skies of Arcadia cameos are good enough, though!
Now officially Valkyria Chronicles is my most wanted game ever.
Whether or not this game turns out to be awesome could be a make or break factor in my decision to buy a PS3. Let’s hope for the best.
hope that means skies of arcadia is in development, although I sure hope it’s not for the PS3.
So can you shoot them? Because that’s what I wanted to do by Skies of Arcadia’s 20-hour mark.
I’m still waiting to see if I can find Ogami from Sakura Wars in there… (The chances of other R&D 1 characters showing up is high)
“Let’s hope it won’t be on the PS3″???? Somehow I don’t see Japanese RPGs making it on any other console. Seriously, in Japan the 360 might as well not exist. The Wii is underpowered and not being considered for most “A” list projects by developers. What else would they release it on?
