In an interview with Watch Impress Ryutaro Nonoka, the producer of Valkyria Chronicles, explains how Vyse the Bold and Aika got added into the PlayStation 3 game. The director of Valkyria Chronicles, Shuntaro Tanaka, is also the director of Skies of Arcadia. Since the settings for both games felt compatible mesh of worlds occurred and fan service was happened.
Nonoka who had a leading role in Nightshade jokes that adding Hibana, the star of the PlayStation 2 game, would be out of place. The same goes with characters from the Dreamcast game, Guru Guru Onsen.
Wait… there was an Onsen game?

@Mazen - Actually, the interview talks about the history of the game, which was in development before the PS3 existed. The really wanted the game to be graphically beautiful and axed plans for a PS2/PSP release. Full scale development begun in 2007. There’s a lot in there about gameplay flow and the graphics engine too. But since we have plans for additional Valkyria Chronicle coverage I thought it would be best to talk about those things later.
If they don’t make Valkyria Chronicles for my X360, I will perform a forcible RRoD on it.
So, is the Skies of Arcadia 2 Wii rumor unlikely because of this? that sucks.
Sweet, I’m really looking forward to Valkyria Chronicles when it releaes in the US in the fall.

Interesting amazing fan service, but that was a long interview I assume nothing in it was worth noting.
