Lost in Blue found on the Wii

lostinbluew.jpgWe mentioned Lost in Blue might coming to the Wii as a rumor before, but now it’s official for Japan. Konami updated their Survival Kids page and Survival Kids Wii is sitting on top of the list. The Lost in Blue series are localized versions of the Survival Kids games.

Other than announcing the game the page is nearly blank. We don’t know much about Survival Kids Wii other than it will have support for two players and some kind of online component. Lost in Blue Wii is likely to have a fishing game too since those controls are very well defined on the Wii. Cooking mini games are likely too, but I hope the focus of Lost in Blue Wii doesn’t become a Cooking Mama clone. Konami can always make Island Buffet in the Blue as a separate game.

Well I would buy Island buffet if it had konami charcters, Lost in blue series must sell well in some weird country cause it sell nearly nothing in japan US and europe.

I remember being so excited about the first Lost in Blue on DS, mainly because I thought it would be awesome like the Survival Kids game on GBC. But they’ve already let me down three times, so I’m very skeptical about the Wii game. I have a feeling that it’ll be just as bland as the DS games and will rely heavily on waggle-fest minigames.
