The Konamistyle Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle is sold out in Japan, but there is another option for gamers to get a shiny new PlayStation 3 packaged with Metal Gear Solid 4. When Konami releases the game worldwide on June 12, Sony will sell the PlayStation 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots Welcome Box with Dualshock 3.

The package consists of a 40GB PS3, a regular edition of Metal Gear Solid 4, a Sixaxis controller and a Dualshock 3 controller for 49,800 yen ($481). Yes, there are two controllers in the package. The Dualshock 3 is considered as a special addition. Unlike the recent Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan package Sony will be selling the Metal Gear Solid 4 Welcome Box in three colors: Piano Black, Ceramic White and Satin Silver, which covers the entire spectrum of current colors in Japan.

If you count the Konamistyle Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle as a separate package this is the fourth PlayStation 3 bundle in Japan this year. A Devil May Cry 4 package and a Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan bundle were released earlier this year.
