The publisher behind Luminous Arc is taking a chance with a full 3D RPG for the Nintendo DS. The project is called Avalon Code and some sites are reporting Matrix Software, the team behind the Final Fantasy remakes is behind it. The official site containing a few more screenshots of Avalon Code doesn’t mention their involvement. Whoever is working on Avalon Code is doing a great job on the visuals.

Japan gets Avalon Code later this year so we should hear more important details like how it plays and the plot besides a prophecy for the world.

Avalon Code seems like a prime candidate to take advantage of the co-publishing agreement between Marvelous and Xseed…
