Square Enix’s suggested mother’s day gift for Sephiroth

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, a holiday usually not associated with Final Fantasy. Square Enix is drawing a distant correlation with a blog entry about about Sephiroth’s gift to Jenova, a black materia pendent with the power to summon meteor.

The gift is described by Square Enix as “perfect for mothers with a penchant for bringing doom to the planet.” While you can’t buy a real piece of black materia you can purchase a mock up at the Square Enix store.

Would you get this for your mother?

Perfect Rain

The colour doesn't quite match for a mothers taste of over thirty, well for my mother that is. This could be a perfect gift for my woman though. Thanks for the information Spencer it may come in handy in the future.
