Walking through Nanashi no Game’s “real” world

Since we’re kicking around a remote possibility Nanashi no Game (Nameless Game) might get localized, you may want to see this trailer with decent amount of gameplay footage. Nanashi no Game has players hold the DS in book style, but it doesn’t use the other screen as a glorified menu or text box.

Nanashi no Game uses the top screen to expand the first person camera. The catch is you have to position objects you want to interact with on the touch screen. While this could be potentially annoying the effect looks neat-o in the movie.

The end of the clip had a powered on red DS sitting on the floor, a reference back to the cursed video game that marked the player for death. Other screenshots show players get to play the cursed game, but this clip doesn’t have any footage of it.

While a red colored Nintendo DS Lite does exist, it would be amusing if Square Enix will released a limited edition “bloody red” Nanashi no Game DS bundle pack.

Cool, my ds is red, and that scares me a little

I’d like a special edition DS.
Despite the fact that I usually stay away from horror games (I scare too easily) I’m actually interested in this game.
