One Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master) game a year isn’t enough either. To be fair Taiko no Tatsujin: 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken was a portable game for the Nintendo DS. The unnamed console version of Taiko no Tatsujin is coming to the Wii. This will be the first non portable Taiko no Tatsujin game in two years. The last one, Taiko no Tatsujin: Doka to Oomori Nanadaime, came out on the PlayStation 2 in 2006.
Since the title popped up in Namco Bandai’s 2008 Financial Summary report there are no details other than the game is scheduled to come out in 2008. The first question I thought of was will Namco Bandai release a new, wireless drum controller for the Wii. Another option would be to design the game with plenty of remote/nunchuck waving and create Taiko Air Drum Master.

I have a better idea. Just bring it out on the PS3. It makes importing a lot easier.
That’s true, Wii is the most import unfriendly now among the 3 consoles. I have Donkey Konga on the Gamecube and you can’t even save any progress playing w/ the freeloader disc.. Just when the heck is Nintendo releasing a different color Wii anyway..
