More Pokemon? Let me show you Pokemon Platinum

More Pokemon? Let me show you Pokemon PlatinumNintendo just released Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, a Chunsoft created Pokemon roguelike, in North America and another addition to the Pokemon Ranger spin off in Japan. But, the Pokemon series is a cash cow. There are always new Pokemon games in the pipeline.

Unlike the aforementioned games Pokemon Platinum isn’t entirely new. See, Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire : Pokemon Emerald :: Pokemon Pearl/Diamond : Pokemon Platinum. Nintendo hasn’t gone out of their way to detail the differences in the enhanced remake. However, Giratina (Origin form) will be in Pokemon Platinum as seen in the screenshot on the right. Japan gets Pokemon Platinum this fall. Nintendo has not announced a release date at this time for any other region, but a Pokemon game is a shoe-in for an international release.

Didn’t get Diamond or Pearl since I knew a 3rd one was gonna be announced. Looking forward to it though…it’s been a while since my last Pokemon game, Sapphire(which I didn’t like much).

Played red/blue version and yellow, after a time “gold”… but then I got annoyed for so many pokémons (all that matters are the attacks, and not the pokémons)… it was really long time ago… I was a freak playing that card game and winning money with that… but I “evolved” and wouldn’t do anything with pokémon again.. I think those new games are for the kids who are beginning to “see that world” (money for nintendo)… but I think that idea is really abused from nintendo… they could easily do something better than this.

I’m really looking forward to this game. Once I got Pokemon Pearl for my Nintendo DS, I couldn’t stop playing it! Even though I always knew my pokemon suck, I didn’t catch the right ones…blah blah blah… but still, Pokemon for the DS is fun to play (except the Ranger series and Mystery Dungeon series).
